BMW launched 1 Series in 2004. It is the smallest car from BMW. You can get this car in hatchback and coupe/convertible forms. Then there is 3 Series which is produced since 1975.
It is popular as compact executive vehicle which is now in fifth generation. You will find it in these models – E90, E91, E92, and E93. Then you will find 5 Series which is popular as mid size executive car.
It is available in station wagon and sedan forms. The most recent one is 5 Series Gran Turismo (F07) which started in 2010. It is designed in such a way to show the division between crossover SUV and station wagons.
BMW has 7 Series which is a flagship executive sedan of full size. There are many innovations in 7 Series like iDrive system. There is also 7 Series Hydrogen which consists of internal combustion engine using liquid hydrogen as fuel. The emissions here are just clean water vapors.
